Senior Clinical Pharmacist - Surgery

The Department of Pharmacy is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic pharmacist with excellent communication skills and relevant clinical knowledge to continue the work of developing pharmaceutical care to our adult surgical patients. The ADHB surgical service covers many areas including theatres/anaesthetics, intensive care, high dependency unit, general surgery, orthopaedics, ears nose and throat, vascular, urology and ophthalmology.

You will be responsible for the delivery, improvement and development of pharmacy services to set surgical wards. You will develop your operational and clinical leadership skills through the provision of teaching and training of pharmacists, interns and externs. And there is the opportunity to further develop managerial skills by providing support to the Pharmacy Team Leader-Surgery and Principal Pharmacist - Clinical Services.

The successful applicant will have relevant clinical pharmacy experience (at least two years hospital experience), the ability to lead and motivate staff, whilst showing drive, enthusiasm and initiative. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential. A postgraduate clinical qualification is desirable.

Rotational Staff Pharmacist Position - Dunedin Hospital

Dunedin Hospital Pharmacy has a vacancy for a pharmacist who is passionate about their career, is a clear communicator and is keen to learn in a well supported, friendly environment with like-minded colleagues.

" Participation in the on-call and Saturday morning rosters

We are looking for someone with self motivation and enthusiasm to complement our team. Preferably you will have had experience in both community and hospital settings, however training will be provided. Due to the changing work environments, flexibility is a must!
